Universal Design Alliance
"The Universal Design Alliance Inc. (UDA) is a non-profit corporation founded in March 2003. Our mission is to create awareness and expand the public’s knowledge of universal design,which is design for all ages, sizes, and abilities.
Our membership has made numerous presentations to conferences, organizations, and individual groups to promote Universal Design. We also have developed 5 CEU courses to become qualified providers for ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) and AOTA (American Occupational Therapy Association).
Goals of Universal Design Alliance
1. Become a resource for universal design knowledge.
2. Promote the Easy Livingcm Home concept.
3. Promote universal design features to both design/build industry members and consumers.
4. Promote universal design through educational programs and seminars.
5. Partner with other design/build entities to design, build, furnish, staff, and promote a universal design show house.
6. Develop membership and participation."

Universal Design Living Laboratory
This is "a National Demonstration Home in Columbus, Ohio: Universal Design, Green & Healthy. We were on an ambitious campaign to build a national demonstration home and garden. The Universal Design Living Laboratory will be available to the building industry and consumers. The Universal Design Living Laboratory will serve to help people better understand how to create a more comfortable living environment that will enhance their quality of life. This Universal Design Living Laboratory will act as a resource to learn from – today and tomorrow."
