Travel
Traveling for the fittest of us poses many challenges. Fortunately, when challenges confront us we can adapt quickly and find solutions. For some travelers, the journey must be so thoughtfully considered in order to be a success; there have to be contingency plans for everything: what if there are no taxis; what if it snows; how will I travel with an oxygen tank; etc.
This purpose of this section is to provide travel resources for those with physical limitations, from the smallest child to the oldest adult, the temporarily injured to those living with a disability.

Wheels In The Woods Foundation
"The purpose of the Foundation is to promote the construction of wheelchair accessible pathways through natural settings. By providing pathways that are of proper grade, width, slope, and surface, people with ambulatory difficulty (such as the elderly using walkers and canes or those with diseases that affect co-ordination of the extremities), as well as those who must use wheelchairs, can gain access to nature and remain better connected with their ambulatory friends and relatives."
